On 20 April 2018, to prepare for European Mobility Week the Verkéiersverbond hosted a meeting at the Oetrange Cultural Centre with representatives from over 30 Luxembourg municipalities. National and international speakers gave presentations on the project and inspired those present to organise activities and events in their own municipality between 16 and 22 September 2018.
