Adaptations in regional public bus transport
On 31 August 2021Changes to certain bus lines of the “Syndicat des Tramways Intercommunaux dans le Canton d’Esch” (TICE) from September 1, 2021
Due to a long-term construction site at CR110 in Bascharage and a site at CR110 in Esch-sur-Alzette, the TICE will adapt the timetables and routes of its lines 3, 13, 14, 15 and 17 from September 1, 2021.
Change of route of lines 3, 13, 14 and 15 at Bascharage
Bus stops located on boulevard J. F. Kennedy will no longer be served. The new route will pass through rue de la Continentale, ZI Op Zaemer and rue Bommelscheuer to return to Avenue de Luxembourg.
Change of route of line 17 at Esch-sur Alzette
The Esch / Alzette, Cité Verte and Esch / Alzette, Op Zaepert bus stops located in rue d’Ehlerange will no longer be served. The new route will pass through rue Marcel Reuland, rue de Belvaux, boulevard Charles de Gaulle and rue Henri Koch to return to the initial route.
Change on the “Late Night Bus” of line 14
From September 1, the “Late Night Bus” will no longer run on line 14 for an indefinite period.
Changes to certain bus lines of the “Régime Général des Transports Routiers” (RGTR) network from September 12, 2021
As part of the project to reorganize the RGTR bus network (phase n ° 5), changes will take effect on a good number of RGTR lines from Sunday, September 12, 2021. The adaptations of the timetables and routes of the lines are necessary in order to gradually improve passenger mobility over the long term.
Implementing new RGTR lines
The following new bus lines will be put into service:
- 190 Luxembourg-Gare – Bettembourg (via Livange / Berchem),
- 294 Ettelbruck – Rambrouch,
- 298 Luxembourg-Gare – Elange (F),
- 299 Luxembourg-Kirchberg – Hayange (F),
- 529 Luxembourg-Center – Bilsdorf,
- 591 Luxembourg-Center – Redange.
Major reorganization of certain RGTR lines
The following bus lines will be subject to a major reorganization: 135, 202, 203, 300*, 301, 510, 520, 525, 530, 590, 621, 645, 742. * line subdivided into line 298, 299 and 300
Changes on some RGTR lines
The following bus lines will be subject to a slight change in their service, route and schedule: 105, 107, 109, 130, 144, 230, 260, 398, 437, 509, 515, 518, 552, 555 , 560, 622, 627, 642, 664, 683.
Implementing new RGTR school lines
The following new RGTR school lines will be put into service:
- 271 Limpertsberg / LTC – Hollenfels – Marienthal,
- 547 Diekirch – Ettelbruck,
- 548 Mersch – Diekirch,
- 549 Beringen – Diekirch,
- 644 Wiltz – Heinerscheid – Clervaux.
Changes on certain school lines of the RGTR network
The following RGTR school lines will benefit from changes in their stops, routes, schedules and / or a reinforcement in races: 101, 103, 113, 131, 141, 161, 181, 183, 186, 188, 214, 302, 418, 420, 422, 424, 469, 471, 473, 479, 480, 488, 489, 508, 511, 514, 517, 521, 531, 553, 554, 561, 594, 631, 632, 647, 679, 819, 823, 965, 991.
Changes to certain bus lines of the “Autobus de la Ville de Luxembourg” (AVL) network from September 17, 2021
Certain lines of the AVL network will be subject to modifications as of September 17, 2021. The new timetables are available under this link.

The new available timetables can already be viewed on www.mobiliteit.lu as well as on the adjoining mobile application. For any additional questions, the Call Center mobility advisers are available to travelers on number 2465 2465 from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
