E KADO FIR DE VËLO

The City of Luxembourg, the Lëtzebuerger Vëlos-Initiativ (LVI) and the Verkéiersverbond as European Mobility Week national coordinator, were delighted to once more organise E Kado fir de Vëlo.
Our employees were posted at the Viaduc and Rond-Point Schuman and stopped those people who choose to cycle because bikes are an environmentally-friendly, economical and a healthy mode of transport and gave them a saddlebag filled with bicycle-related gifts and information leaflets. Last year, over 600 cyclists were given their “supplies”. This year, despite the cold, miserable weather on 17 September, that number was far exceeded as 800 saddlebags were handed out!
