On 29 July 2018New tram and bus stops
On Friday 27 July, Luxtram will inaugurate three new tram stations: Theater, Faïencerie and Stäreplaz/Étoile. The tram line will stop then at 11 stations and connect the Kirchberg Plateau with the Place de l’Étoile.
When these stations are opened it will be possible for you on this day, and from midday onwards:
- to be among the first passengers to travel by tram on Limpertsberg
- to find out more at the information stands at all three new stations
- to enjoy the entertainment at the Theater station
The programme includes entertainment for both young and old alike, face painting for children, colouring workshop, photo booth, quizzes and games about safety, etc.
From 27 July to 16 September 2018, travel on the tram will be free across the whole network.

New bus stops at the Stäreplaz/Étoile transport hub
To encourage connections between buses and the tram, extra stops have been added to all bus lines routes that go along Route d’Alene.
