Launch of the new “Adapto.lu” mobile applicationOn 16 August 2021
On August 27, 2021, the Public Transport Administration will launch the new mobile reservation application “Adapto.lu” for people with reduced mobility using the Adapto transport service.
The new mobile application for the Adapto on-demand transport service will be available from August 27, 2021. The supplier of the new booking platform, Via, which won the tender from the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works in June 2021, offers a powerful and scalable solution, accessible to the target audience.
The app easily allows Adapto beneficiaries to create and manage their reservations themselves, thus avoiding phone calls to the mobiliteit.lu call center.
In line with the ambitions of the Public Transport Administration to increase the quality of service to beneficiaries of the Adapto transport, the application will provide a superior user experience, while taking into account new technologies as well as user demands. Its navigation system will provide even more precise and accurate trip results. It will also offer new features such as sending SMS or voicecall for booking confirmation, vehicle arrival or warning of possible delays. It will be available for download from August 27, 2021 in the App Store and the Play Store and will be available in French, English and German. It will replace the current application for all trip bookings from September 1, 2021, which will no longer be active from that same date.
