The Verkéiersverbond’s annual “Mam Vëlo op d’Schaff oder an d’Schoul” (MVOS) campaign is back again for another year and will take place from 15 May to 31 July 2019. Cyclists can register to compete from today.

The Verkéiersverbond is proud to announce that www.mvos.lu, the special campaign website has had a complete overhaul. Just some of the new features include being able to manage your user profile more easily and import Strava data and there’s even an option to join a public team.

Whether you fancy a new challenge, want to boost your health, reduce your stress, be more independent or even lower greenhouse emissions – there are many different reasons for taking part in the campaign. The principle behind #MVOS2019 is simple: For at least a fortnight during the campaign, when you go to work or school swap your car for your bike.

If you do this, you will qualify for the grand prize draw and with a little luck you might win one of the team prizes worth a total of €16,000! The main prizes include two TREK “Dual Sport 4” bikes with lights and worth €2,540, donated by Andy Schleck Cycles, and a Specialized “Turbo Levo Hardtail 29” bike worth €2,449, donated by S-Cape. The emphasis in this competition is on taking part rather than performance, so the number of kilometres you cover will not influence your chances!
