#MVOS2018 LAUNCHED AT A KICK-OFF EVENT
On 15 April 2018A great success!

On 15 May, to launch its nationwide challenge “Mam Vëlo op d’Schaff oder an d’Schoul” (MVOS), the Verkéiersverbond invited members of the general public to its first kick-off event at the Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg transport hub. This event was jointly organised with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, the City of Luxembourg, the Fonds Kirchberg and the CFL.
Present were François Bausch, Minister for Sustainable Development and
Infrastructure; Gilles Dostert, the Verkéiersverbond’s General Manager; Patrick
Goldschmidt, City of Luxembourg alderman in charge of mobility, and Patrick
Gillen, President of Fonds Kirchberg. #MVOS2018 was officially launched by Andy
Schleck, who is promoting this eleventh edition: he got on his bike along with
the Minister and the other partners, and together they rode along the new
Kirchberg cycle path, accompanied by many visitors who joined the group.
As a hundred or so bikes were available to hire for free during the event, members
of the public were encouraged to try out the new cycle path and at the same
time a competition about mBox secure bicycle parking was also run.
