PARK(ing) Dag aims to draw attention to the need to increase the amount of high-quality urban public space, to initiate critical debate about how public space is created and allocated and in general to improve quality of life in the urban environment… At least until the moment when the parking meter tells that your “parking” time is up!

The Verkéiersverbond wants to draw attention to this scheme which is all about encouraging you to help create higher quality public space in your municipalities by planning your own PARK(ing). You’ll find a permit request form on the Park(ing) Day international website, fill it out and contact your municipality to let them know that you want to take part in the 2015 scheme. Be creative and tell your municipality that it can register on www.mobiliteitswoch.lu so that its citizens can join the 2015 scheme.
