Mam Vëlo op d’Schaff 2019 – Prize ceremony

On Wednesday 18th September, the Verkéiersverbond was happy to welcome the winning teams of the ‘Mam Vëlo op d’Schaff oder an d’Schoul‘ contest at the Coque in Kirchberg. Gilles Dostert, CEO of the Verkéiersverbond, as well as the sponsors of the contest had the pleasure to present the #MVOS2019 winners with the prizes with a total value of € 16,000.

Since its launch in 2008, the contest has continually motivated new cycling enthusiasts to participate and has shown that active mobility is becoming more and more popular in Luxembourg. In 2019, 3,482 participants across 1,165 teams have cycled together 1,102,861 kilometres and have thereby saved 245,653 kg of CO2.
