Protective masks mandatory on public transport from 20/04/2020

From Monday, 20 April 2020, the following protective measures must be observed in public transport (bus, trains and tram) in Luxembourg:

Driving staff, as well as other employees employed in public transport, must wear a mask, either a medical mask, or a homemade fabric mask, a bandana (buff) or a scarf.

Travelers are also obliged to wear a mask, either a medical mask, or a homemade fabric mask, a bandana (buff) or a scarf.

The following protective measures remain in place:

  • The front door of the buses remains closed. Travelers are asked to get in and out of the rear doors.
  • The 1st row of bus seats remains unoccupied and a barrier tape in place.
  • No ticket sales (RegioZone and 1st class on trains).
