THE TOUR DE FRANCE COMES TO THE GRAND DUCHY
On 28 June 2017How public transport and traffic will be affected

Since the Tour de France is coming to Luxembourg on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 July 2017, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure has informed the general public that there will be severe disruption to public transport because of the Tour de France. In principle, all bus lines that run on a section of the race’s itinerary will not operate while roads are closed off, i.e. there will be no buses for several hours.
For all other information about how this will impact public transport, please do not hesitate to call the Mobilitéitszentral on 2465 2465.
With regard to road traffic, please note the following changes:
- Road closures
- Mamer, Foetz, Schifflange and Schengen interchanges
- Access to France will be difficult: advice for cross-border workers
- 4th stage departure in Mondorf: advice for spectators
