TIMETABLE CHANGES AND THE LUXEXPO RAILWAY STATION

From 3 March 2018

On Saturday 3 March 2018 Luxexpo railway station is moving to its permanent location. Up until now, platforms had been temporarily installed on the Luxexpo Exhibition Centre car park. Consequently lines going to Luxexpo railway station will depart from and terminate in the new hub building, which is still under construction.

Two mobility advisors will be on site on Monday to guide passengers and give them as much information as possible about these changes. Details of the Luxexpo hub’s current location, as well as all the information about these changes and the inauguration of new services as part of the “Good Morning Mobilitéit” project can be found on our special page.


Furthermore, 29 RGTR lines will switch to real time on 5 March 2018. The whole RGTR network (apart from school lines) will therefore be completely integrated into the overall real-time system, which is part of the major national telematics mLive project. Launched in 2014, and since then gradually implemented in stages, the goal is that travelling by public transport and individual passenger mobility chain planning are made simpler because different modes of transport can be now monitored in real time.
