Timetable changes on certain RGTR bus lines starting on 10 May 2026

As part of the ongoing optimisation of the RGTR bus network, adjustments will be made to the timetables and routes on some lines starting on Sunday, 10 May 2026. The goal of these adaptations is to better meet the needs of passengers while enhancing the quality of service. The key changes are as follows:

  • Improved service to the Kirchberg plateau: To enhance accessibility, services are being increased on the following routes:
    • 503 Luxembourg, Kirchberg – Thionville (F) → Introduction of additional services on saturday
    • 508 Luxembourg, Gare Rocade – Ottange (F) → Introduction of earlier departures in the morning
    • 811 Luxembourg, Kirchberg – Steinfort → Introduction of earlier departures in the morning

Thanks to these adjustments, access to workplaces located in Kirchberg is improved, making daily commutes easier for employees as well as cross-border workers.

  • Optimisation of bus–rail connections at Leudelange and Ettelbruck railway station: Timetable adjustments are being made on the following routes to improve coordination between train arrivals and bus departures:
    • 190 Ettelbruck – Diekirch – Echternach
    • 655 Bertrange – Leudelange – Alzingen

These adjustments help reduce waiting times and improve passenger comfort during transfers.

  • More seating on several RGTR routes: In response to growing passenger numbers, additional services and/or higher-capacity vehicles are being introduced during peak hours on the following routes:
    • 147 Wiltz – Nocher – Goebelsmuehle
    • 148 Wiltz – Bavigne
    • 241 Diekirch – Medernach – Freckeisen
    • 424 Luxembourg, Gare – Hassel – Waldbredimus
    • 750 Belvaux/Belval – Dippach – Steinfort
    • 632 Bettembourg – Leudelange Z.I.
    • 921 Luxembourg, Centre – Keispelt – Mersch
    • 933 Mersch – Saeul – Oberpallen
  • Reorganisation of the Ettelbruck Mobility Hub: As part of the next phase of works in Ettelbruck, the bus station within the mobility hub is being completely reorganised. New bus stops are being brought into service to make wayfinding and movement within the hub easier.
