3rd National Day of Respect in Public Transport

“Respect is as easy as 1, 2, 3”

To mark the 3rd National Day of Respect in Public Transport, transport officials gathered in front of the Ministry of Mobility to highlight the importance of respectful behaviour between passengers and towards public transport staff.

Launched by CFL in 2023 and supported by Minister for Mobility Yuriko Backes, this annual event is now a key date on the calendar. It is accompanied by an awareness campaign on buses, trains, the tram, and across the social media channels of the involved partners (Public Transport Administration, City of Luxembourg, Luxtram, TICE).

The aim: to promote simple acts of courtesy, such as letting passengers get off before boarding, helping ensure a smoother, more pleasant experience for everyone.

“Respect in public transport is essential to living well together,” the minister emphasised. Transport leaders also stressed that every user plays a part in fostering this shared value day to day.
