Improvements on certain RGTR bus lines starting on 14 December 2025
As part of the ongoing optimisation of the RGTR bus network, adjustments will be made to the timetables and routes on some lines starting on Sunday, 14 December 2025.
The goal of these adaptations is to better meet the needs of passengers while enhancing the quality of service. The key changes are as follows:
- Two new RGTR lines for the South: The RGTR network is expanding with lines 643 Esch-sur-Alzette – Pontpierre and 651 Oberkorn – Volmerange-les-Mines (F). These additions support the TICE syndicate in its commitment to connecting the towns in the south of the country.
- More comfort on cross-border lines: To meet growing demand, lines 604 Luxembourg, Centre – Esch-sur-Alzette – Cantebonne (F), 605 Luxembourg, Centre – Villerupt (F) and 606 Luxembourg, Centre – Differdange – Hussigny (F) will benefit from additional services during peak hours, providing more seats and optimal comfort for all passengers.
- Optimisations ahead of the opening of the Dippach-Gare bypass: Adjustment of the routes for lines 750 and 755 (in close collaboration with the municipalities of Reckange-sur-Mess and Dippach), as well as fine-tuning the frequencies of lines 622 and 623 and between lines 750 and 755 to improve service regularity.
