Students and pupils RegioZone

The use of national public transport is free of charge. Free travel ends at the border, so you will need a cross-border ticket or subscription to travel beyond the territory of the Grand Duchy.

RegioZone pricing for cross-border bus connections is based on a flat rate (except for the Saarbrücken Express line).

The “Studentepass” RegioZone is valid without any route limitation on RegioZone cross-border bus lines, starting from the date indicated on the subscription until the same day of the following year at 4:00 a.m. It is not valid for international train journeys. Students under 30 years old and pupils who hold a myCard can apply for a “Studentepass”.

Proof of enrollment or a valid student ID card must be presented upon request.

Note: The “myCard” allows pupils to travel free of charge on lines L01, L02, L03, L04, L05, L06, L07, 130, and 173 without needing a “Studentepass”.
