Regular municipal bus lines
At the beginning of the evening, before the festivities, the timetable of certain bus lines will be reinforced, notably through the addition of extra services. For more information, please consult the detailed timetables.
From approximately 7:00 p.m., all bus lines will be diverted between Central Station and the city centre in both directions via Rue de Hollerich and Route d’Esch. The stops “Roosevelt Quai 1” and “Roosevelt Quai 2” will not be served.
With the exception of bus lines 6, 16, 18 and 29, bus services will be suspended between approximately 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
After the fireworks display, special services will operate on most AVL bus lines between approximately 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m., departing from the city centre

Between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, please note that, due to the large crowds at the intersection of Boulevard Royal and Avenue Monterey, the stops “Hamilius Quai 1”, “Hamilius Quai 2”, and “Monterey Quai 2” will not be served.
From midnight onwards, the “Hamilius” and “Monterey” stops will once again be served normally.
From 11:00 p.m., Avenue de la Porte-Neuve will be closed to all traffic, including buses. Consequently, the “Fondation Pescatore” stop will no longer be served, and the connection between “Hamilius Quai 1” and “Badanstalt Quai 3” will no longer be possible.
As a result, some bus lines will depart exclusively from “Badanstalt Quai 3”. Passengers are advised to consult the detailed timetables in advance and the information board shown above for precise departure information.
