Major worksite in Bettembourg : renovation of the Hammerel bridge

Since November 2023, renovation work is underway on the “Hammerel bridge” at Bettembourg station. The P+R next to Bettembourg station is thus partially closed until 20 December 2024 (see CFL map below).

A temporary P+R has been made available in ZAE Wolser F, easily accessible by car along the bypass and on foot. A dedicated shuttle bus (634) is runnig between Bettembourg station and the temporary P+R.

Shuttle bus 634 runs according to the following timetable:

Monday – Saturday:

  • 4:30 am – 9:00 am every 15 minutes
  • 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm every 15 minutes

Sunday:

  • 8.00 am – 8.00 pm every 15 minutes

In addition, the temporary P+R is also accessible by regular bus lines 631 and 633.

As of 15th March 2024, the next phase of the renovation work will be launched. From that date, the bridge will be closed to all traffic, which will have a greater impact on local traffic. As the bus station will no longer be accessible to all lines, two temporary bus stops will be put in place, one in rue Auguste Collart and the other in rue de la Gare. The map below shows which bus lines operate from which stop.

  • The bus station is still served by the following bus routes:
    • In zone A: the School bus lines D17, L01 & R06.
    • In zone B: the Navette Parc Merveilleux and the Navette BGL
    • In zone C: the regular RGTR lines 511, 512 & 550 as well as the 50U factory line.
    • In zone D: the regular RGTR lines 633 and 634.
  • The following School bus lines operate at the temporary stop rue Auguste Collart: D15, E35, N01 & R07.
